Hand-dyed in the workshop using plant dyes on a slow and small scale to create a rich and vibrant collection of colours.
The plant materials I use are sourced locally from plants that I grow, forage or import from sustainable sources. I use traditional historical dyes from plant materials including weld, woad, madder, sappanwood and logwood. I also use the plants that grow in abundance around me, including heather, furze, bracken, nettles and docks as well as materials on their way to the compost such as onion skins.
Producing a yarn that is sustainably dyed with minimal environmental impact, supporting independent suppliers and British mills.
